Mk5 Dry Abrasive Kit
Equipment Included: Mk5 Abrasive Injector Head, 10 metres x 5/8" Sandblasting Hose and Sand Poker.
The Mk5 Dry Abrasive Injector Kit operates on the Venturi principle in the same way as the Mk1A Injector Kit, but uses a single high velocity pencil jet and a ceramic nozzle in place of the ring jet. In addition to the standard ceramic head, a stainless steel Mk5 head is available fitted with a tungsten carbide nozzle for use with Flowplant's unique underwater blasting unit for diving applications.
Technical Information: Max Pressure: 700 Bar (10,000psi) Part Number: 023-013
Wet Abrasive Blast Kit
The Wet Abrasive Blast Unit is the most advanced of Flowplant's abrasive blasting range giving greater control over the depth of cut than conventional shot-blast equipment. The unit can be used with a number of units with applications from removing graffiti from brick walls or leached anti-fouling from ship's hulls without damaging the surface below.
The system consists of a hopper trolley where the abrasive is mixed with water to form the abrasive slurry. The slurry is then pulled through to the jetting head using a Venturi boost system mounted on the side of the hopper.

High Efficiency Drain Jets
High efficiency drain jets are suitable for use in both drains and sewers, due to their ability to withstand higher flow rates than standard drain jets. The jets are honed at a 30º angle, and can be ordered with either a ½" or ¾" bspm hose fitting. A rotary Screma Jet can also be fitted to HE drain jets.

Desilting Jets
Plough jets are designed to sit on the bottom of the drain or sewer, flushing out silt and loose deposits that have settled there. Small plough jets (with a ½" bspm hose fitting) are suitable for drains up to 6", whereas large plough jets (with a ¾" bpsm hose fitting) are suitable for larger diameters.

Nozzles & Jets
By changing the shape, size or type of nozzle fitted to a gun, the pressure and jetting profile can be easily changed. Fans jets are used for most general jetting applications, pencil jets offer a more concentrated profile and are ideal for detailed work where the jet needs to be concentrated on a small area, and general surface work can be sped up by using a rotary nozzle.

Rotablast Floor Cleaners
Rotablast floor cleaners are heavy duty self-rotating cleaning devices designed to operate in conjunction with units up to 700 Bar and 155 litres per minute. Rotablasts are pushed by an operator on either pneumatic or solid castor wheels with the pressure controlled by a dead-man's handle which diverts the high pressure flow to a low pressure dump line when released. Applications include paint removal from spray paint booths in car and truck manufacturing plants, shipside cleaning, cleaning of aircraft standing areas and rubber removal from the surface of runways, removal of Camrex non-skid surfaces from aircraft carrier decks and oil and grease removal from slipways, forecourts and garages. Rotablast Range
Description: Rotablasts are available with 400mm, 600mm and 1000mm cleaning paths, and are all fitted with a tachometer. Maximum working pressure is 700 Bar (10,000psi), and units can cope with flows up to 155 litres/minute (34 gpm).

Safety Leader Hose
Safety leader hose is brightly coloured, and should be fitted between the end of the jetting hose and the drain jet (or drain jet extension bar where used) to warn the operator that the drain jet is near when rewinding the hose under pressure.
Safety Leader Hose: 055 - 093: 10' x ½" Safety Leader Hose (Orange) 055 - 450: 10' x ¾" Safety Leader Hose (Blue)
Drain Jet Extension
Drain jet extensions are hollow bars placed between the end of the jetting (or safety leader) hose and the drain jet. The correctly sized bar with prevent the jet turning in the drain and shooting back towards the operator if it hits and obstruction. As a rule of thumb, the drain jet extension should be approximately 1.5 times the diameter of the drain being cleaned.

Hose Feed Guides: 055 - 147: Tiger Tail Hose Feed Guide Remote Control Kits
A new Radio Remote system from Flowplant allows operators to control the jetting unit functions from up to 100 metres away. The “Echo Kit” meets current and impending Water Jetting Association codes of practice and means that the machine can be safely operated with just one man. When the operator selects the radio option from the panel on the machine he can then control the high pressure water stream, engine speed and engine stop functions from a rugged waterproof hand held transmitter pendant. The system works on a coded frequency that stops interference from any other radio source.
Phil Jones, Technical Director at Flowplant comments, “It is vital that the Echo Kit operates in a fail safe manner. The hand held transmitter is in constant radio contact with the machine. Should the operator stray outside the transmitter signal area the high pressure water stream is automatically shut off until he returns to the signal area and re-selects the high pressure water function”
The “Echo Kit” can be fitted to new Flowplant van pack machines or existing units using the standard Yanmar engine. .
Unloaders & Pressure Control Valves
Pressure Control Valves should not be confused with Unloader Valves. There purpose is similar to an adjustable relief valve; they control the pressure and volume discharged by the pump. However, excess flow is recycled or dumped and the pump is under a continuous load, unlike when an Unloader Valve is used. Pressure Control Valves are adjustable throughout their pressure range to suit nozzle size and pump performance. 350 Bar Pressure Control Valve
Description: This Valve has a maximum working pressure of 350 Bar, and can be hand-adjusted up to its maximum pressure with a flow rate of 90 litres per minute. This type of valve gives complete control over any system giving a choice of pressures (after correct nozzle selection) and minimising pressure losses caused by excessive water volume and hose size.
Technical Details: Max Working Pressure: 350 Bar (5,000 psi) Max Flow Rate: 90 Litres/min (20 gpm) Inlet Connection: ½" bspm Outlet Connection: ½" bspm Weight: 3.5 kgs
Part Number: 023 - 157 830 Bar Pressure Control Valve
Description: This valve has a maximum working pressure of 830 Bar, and is similar to the 350 Bar PCV, but is designed for higher flows and pressures. These Pressure Control Valves are renowned for their reliability and the need for little, if any, maintenance.
Technical Details: Max. Working Pressure: 830 Bar (12,000 psi) Inlet Connection: ½" bspm Outlet Connection: ½" bspm Weight: 3.5 kgs
Part Number: 022 - 045 Unloader Valves
Unloader Valves are used mainly with Dead Stop Guns, and will control water flow from the pump through to the nozzle when pressure is selected from the gun, or will re-circulate water flow to a header/break tank. Unlike Pressure Control Valves, when in re-circulation mode, the load on the pump is reduced to almost nothing, but pressure between the gun and the unloading valve is locked in the connecting hose. Any excess pressure must be discharged at the end of operation. Although hand adjustment is available in some of the valves below, most valves are pre-set for maximum working pressure and should not be adjusted. Fixed Unloader Valves
