Harben jetters & pumps have been a worldwide industry leader since our invention of the radial piston diaphragm ‘P’ type pump in 1970. The ‘P’ type pump was initially designed for use in the industrial cleaning market but after extensive research and a decade of successfully building water jetters we realized that there was a requirement for high quality, reliable drain jetters in the US. In 1981 Harben Inc. opened its doors in Atlanta, Georgia introducing the concept of high pressure – low flow jetting technology. In addition to the highly successful ‘P’ type pump, we are now also utilizing the ‘Hi-Q’ and Century pumps in our jetting equipment. Our quality, reliability, value and service are the reason why we have sold over 11,000 units worldwide.
- Drain Jetters Harben has been manufacturing innovative, high pressure, high quality drain jetters since 1980. - Industrial Water Jetters Harben offers a wide range of industrial water jetters for applications where water jetting has become accepted as the most environmentally friendly solution. These may include: Tube and pipe cleaning Surface preparation Heat exchanger cleaning Tank cleaning Hydro-demolition Abrasive cutting Water hydraulics Mill scale removal High pressure flushing Hydrostatic testing The unique Harben radial piston diaphragm range of pumps are amongst the best performing and most reliable high pressure pumps on the market today, making them the ideal choice for many industrial applications. The P Type pump offers pressures from 2000 psi – 6000 psi with flow rates up 18 gpm The Century pump offers up to 10,000 psi with flow rates up to 40 gpm and the Aqua, 15,000 psi at 16 gom. With ATEX approval for use in explosive atmospheres, these pumps are truly versatile. Industrial water jetters have become the most efficient and versatile cleaning method in the modern world.
- Energy Sector High Pressure Systems At Flowplant we have been building energy sector high pressure systems for over 40 years. Our first units were just “rig safe” water jetters but we now have a full range of products for numerous applications. Water jetting Umbilical flushing Hydrostatic testing Chemical cleaning Sub sea cleaning Cold cutting Surface preparation Compliance Our engineers have an extensive knowledge of the stringent regulations governing high pressure pump systems and their use on and offshore. We can build systems to meet the space, lifting and environmental restrictions found offshore. We are fully conversant with the current directives and standards governing the general design of high pressure fluid pumping systems. For stricter offshore environments we will ensure compliance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, DNV 2.7-1, Norsok Z015, IECEx and many API regulations. Our Pumps Flowplant manufactures the Harben radial piston diaphragm pump. This unique pump is ideally suited to pumping low viscosity fluids such as MEG, water based hydraulic fluids and scale inhibitor, at pressures up to 700 Bar. It has a seal free design and the pumped fluid is separated from the pistons making it unique amongst high pressure pumps. The Aqua type triplex plunger pump, also manufactured by us, is a robust…
- Duct Desilting Jetters We have been building our cable duct desilting jetter for over 30 years and our machines have cleared thousand of meters of blocked ducts. They have significantly sped up the roll out of fibre optic cable and and helped civils avoidance – clearing old ducts that otherwise would have required dig up and replacement. Our cable duct desilting machines use the unique Harben diaphragm pump to create a pulsing water jet that can clear silt blockages from long lengths of underground cable duct. Silt trapped in long underground cable ducts can be difficult to remove but our duct desilting jetter can clear even the toughest blockages in minutes. A powerful water jet first loosens and then washes away compacted dirt. This leaves the duct clear, so that engineers can easily pull through additional fibre optic cable. The Flowplant duct desilter jetter range extends to three models. TRAILER MOUNTED for the longest and most heavily blocked ducts VAN MOUNTED for ease of use around cities and congested areas MINI UNIT for the smallest network ducts Hundreds of our desilters have since been used to unblock and desilt thousands of kilometres of fibre optic cable. Much development has taken place since…
- Custom Build High Pressure Systems Custom Build High Pressure Systems Flowplant can offer consultancy and technical assistance on a wide range of high pressure fluid pumping applications. We are able to provide custom design solutions across all applications. Some of our recent projects include: Multi skid water jetter for local installation High pressure pump skid for use in a nuclear reactor Recycling system for waste material High pressure test rig with fast fill and chemical injection Umbilical flushing unit with severe space limitations Drain jetters for Zone 2 hazardous area High pressure filter test rig Broad Experience Our experience with low viscosity water based hydraulic fluids has proved invaluable to many of our clients, saving them money and reducing downtime. Flowplant’s engineering knowledge extends beyond that generally found in the oil hydraulics industry and our experience with high pressure control valves up to 1000 bar is often of particular value. Our sales engineers are happy to visit client sites, see the issues first hand and call on 50 years of application experience to provide compliant custom designed and cost-effective solutions. Life Long Service Flowplant equipment is constructed to exacting standards. To remain compliant and operating at optimum efficiency equipment must be serviced and maintained by…
- High Pressure Pumps The unique Harben radial piston diaphragm pumps are the best performing and most reliable high pressure diaphragm pumps on the market today. Harben pumps offer many benefits across different applications and industries. These include; Unrivalled reliability and low running costs Pump can run dry without damage Filtration to 150 microns Pumps low lubricity fluids with ease Has multi-cylinders therefore minimal pulsation Unequalled continuous running capabilities Compact and lightweight Simple to pressure compensate The Harben radial piston diaphragm pumps features a multi-cylinder design and can operate at speeds up to 1,300 rpm; this ensures pulsation free operation. Its tubular diaphragm pumping chambers are ideally suited to high pressures and the seal-less pistons never require repacking. All the moving parts are immersed in hydraulic oil; moving parts in contact with the pumped media are limited to the diaphragm, inlet and delivery valves. This gives the Harben radial piston pump has the unique ability to run dry without damage. This pump design design means fluids filtered to only 150 microns can be successfully pumped, whereas conventional plunger pumps require filtration to 50 microns. Our Harben high pressure pumps are used in numerous applications where their unique operating advantages have earned them an enviable…

- Water Jetting PPE & Safety Equipment It is very important that all operators use the correct water jetting PPE (personal protective equipment) and safety equipment. Our jetting helmets are fully adjustable and meet all current legislation. They are designed for high pressure water jetting operators and provide hearing, head, face and chin protection. Our jetting boots have been specially designed to withstand a water jet up to 800 bar (11,600 psi) accidentally passing over the top of the foot (metatarsal), an area that is left exposed by many other wellington boot designs. Such accidents can happen when using a jetting gun for washing down or surface cleaning. They are resistant to oils, petrol, dilute acids and alkalis and have a slip resistant sole and energy absorbing heel . The boot is designed to meet EN345-54 and DIN 2 3329. The WJA safety sign is a 340mm x 477mm foldable and waterproof sign with tough nylon eyelets making it easy to secure in place with ties or bungee straps.
