CENTURY (High Pressure Diaphragm Pump)
Harben Century high pressure diaphragm pumps are capable of pressures up to 700 bar (10,000 psi) and flows to 135 l/min (30 gpm). They are available with 4 or 8 cylinders requiring from 30 to 150hp depending upon the pressure and flow configuration chosen.
Drive power can be diesel or electric and we have a range of gearbox ratios to suit all requirements.
They have a unique mode of operation that keeps all the moving parts inside the pump separated from the pumped fluid. The video below clearly shows the simplicity of operation which delivers some significant advantages over more traditional direct acting pumps.
- No packings or seals to wear out
- Pump can run dry without damage
- Suitable for a large range of low viscosity fluids
- Pumps low lubricity fluids with ease
- Has multi-cylinders therefore minimal pulsation
- High power to weight ratio
- Simple to pressure compensate
- Frost tolerant
The Harben high pressure diaphragm pumps are used in numerous pumping applications because they are efficient, reliable and easy to maintain.
- Water jetting
- Drain cleaning
- Duct desilting
- Hydrostatic testing
- Umbilical flushing & HPU’s
- Hot steel descaling
- Water hydraulic systems
- Coke oven door cleaning
